Geomorphology of Mumbai

The Geomorphic features of Mumbai have been a resultant amalgamation of fluvial, denudational and marine processes. Endowed with countless physical features, Mumbai has marched ahead and developed as a port of vital significance. Facing rough weathers has been a continuous challenge which Mumbai has withstood for time immemorial. This talk is a discussion reflecting the understanding of geomorphic features of this marvelous city and its relevance to the making of Mumbai as a port.
