Chronicles of Chaul

Chaul, a small town with an area of approximately 10 sq kms, was once a key port on the western coast of India. While written references to Chaul date back to the first century of the common era, the archaeological findings indicate that it's international connection actually started long before that. The journey of Chaul has some amazing twists that shaped it's history and made it what it is today. Fortunately, some of these sentinels are still standing to help us take on this journey of Chaul through 2500 years.
