After completing my training at the National Defence Academy, I joined the Indian Navy as a commissioned officer in 1977.
I served the Nation for 26 Years during which period I was exposed to all facets of maritime activities. I was involved in strategic planning and also tactical execution in front-line sea and shore assignments. In 2003 and I joined ONGC where I was responsible for the safety and security of all offshore operations and infrastructure on a Pan India Basis. I retired in 2016 and am currently working as an independent consultant in the same field.
